Ponce Park School Program that Aunt Lottie O'Hagan Freeborn kept. It was donated to the Ponce Inlet museum. From Aunt Irene 4/25/84: "I always thought mother was kidding when she said they closed the Ponce Park School and had to take the children by boat to New Smyrna Beach to school when the O'Hagans moved to Fernandina Beach in 1905. Janie and Lottie attended St. Joseph's boarding school in St. Augustine the last year they lived in Ponce Park. Agnes and possibly the twins started school there. Incidentally, they moved cow and all by train from Ponce Park to Fernandina Beach, arriving after dark." |
